Allegro Current Sensor Evaluation Boards

Allegro Current Sensor Evaluation Boards offer a convenient method for quickly evaluating Allegro Current Sensors in a lab environment without needing a custom circuit board. These evaluation board are intended for use with a user-populated Allegro Current Sensor IC.

What is Included

  • Simplifying the Allegro Current Sensor evaluation process with straightforward and comprehensible board design, saving time and effort while remaining efficient

    • Test points allow convenient access to device pins allowing for quick measurement and validation without the need of complex test setups

  • Enhanced thermal performance and heat dissipation allowing precise and reliable measurements

    • 6-layer PCB with 2 oz copper weight on all layers

    • Nonconductive filled Via-In-Pad used

    • High performance FR4 material

  • Flexible instrument connection

    • Standard Keystone test points, SMA/SMB connector or 2-pin headers options are provided

  • Sensor integrated current loop resistance can be measured directly on the evaluation board; voltage drop can be measured for approximating power loss in the package

  • Bare printed circuit board without populated components
    • NOTE: It is up to the user to assemble the board with the desired current sensor IC. This board does not come populated with an Allegro current sensor.
  • Recommended bill of materials (BOM) for all compatible current sensors can be found in the Bill of Materials section of the respective user guide
