The A8518 is a multi-output LED driver for small LCD backlighting, integrating a boost converter with internal switch and two current sinks (up to 400mA). It operates from 4.5V to 40V, supports high-contrast PWM dimming, offers optional input disconnect, comprehensive protection, fixed 2.15MHz switching, and frequency dithering (A8518 only) for EMI reduction.
