As a global semiconductor leader, our products touch millions of lives every day. We know it’s important to combine a global vision with a focus on improving the communities in which we operate. Guided by our core values, we’re committed to being a responsible corporate citizen and making a difference around the world.
Our people are the heart of our organization, and we’re dedicated to supporting their passions, philanthropic activities, and communities. We do this through a variety of programs.
We’re proud to support our employees’ personal causes through matching financial contributions to employee nonprofit charitable organizations and educational institutions. Our program matches 100% of qualifying charitable donations up to $5,000 per year, per employee.
Through gift matching, Allegro has donated over $230,000 over the past four years (2017-2021)
When disaster strikes, Allegro is there. In times of increased need, we remove the cap on matching gifts for donations to national and global organizations. Recent examples include:
We believe it’s important for employees to be active within their communities. Allegro employees volunteer their time and energy coaching STEM/robotics teams, building gardens for community food banks, providing tutoring and life-skill mentoring, assisting with adoptions at local animal shelters, and providing aid to others in need within the neighborhoods where we work and live.
In recognition of those contributions, our “Dollars for Doers” program helps encourage volunteering by supplementing time contributed (outside working hours) with monetary donations to qualified nonprofit organizations.
We award up to two grants per employee, per year, based on the total number of hours volunteered. Activity between 24 and 49 hours is rewarded with a $250 grant, and 50 hours or more is rewarded with one for $500.
As a leading innovator in the semiconductor industry, we recognize the importance of supporting science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education programs. Every year, we provide financial grants to local organizations that provide STEM education and community-related programs such as The Grace Hopper Program and FIRST Robotics.
Extending our commitment to supporting our employees with ongoing financial assistance for education, we’re proud to award scholarships to the children of Allegro employees in selected geographies. To date, we’ve awarded almost $80,000 to recipients.
