Inductive Position Sensors

Inductive sensors are completely immune to stray magnetic fields, are well-suited for side-of-shaft sensing and eliminate the need for magnets.

Inductive is the best technology for traction motor and non-traction motor position sensing, including electro- brake motors, steering system motors, e-bike motors, or industrial motors.  Because inductive sensors directly measure electrical angle within ±0.5°el, they enable efficient vector commutation regardless of the number of poles the motor has.

The Allegro inductive sensors are optimized for wiring harness costs and deep levels of system diagnostics that are important for our customers. We offer a wide range of signal output protocols, including differential analog, PWM, SPI, and the fastest shared SENT protocol on the market.
