The A81805 is a powerful synchronous buck regulator that offers high efficiency over the full load of up to 2.5A. This regulator's unique architecture reduces the amount of EMI generated by the switching components to minimize the number of external components. The A81805 has a very low 6uA quiescent current which will help maximize battery life in standby mode. The input voltage range is wide enough to survive many transients in automotive and industrial applications and not turn off when the voltage drops.

  • Wide input voltage range: 3.5V to 40V
  • AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualified
  • High efficiency: 92%, 12 to 5V at 1A
  • Low EMI: spread spectrum dithering
  • Wide switching frequency range: 250kHz to 2.5MHz
  • Up to 2.5A continuous output current

Typical Applications:

 

20-contact QFN (suffix ES) 4 mm × 4 mm × 0.75 mm with exposed thermal pad and wettable flank.
