The A17803 IC is an advanced inductive position sensor designed to measure the rotational angle of a metallic target and output the information over a high speed digital interface with a large output interface selection: SPI, SENT, motorSENT, PWM, and ABI.  The IC features digital processing that optimizes the inductive front-end and applies compensations that maximize system-level angle accuracy.

The A17803 provides a high-speed absolute-angle sensor that is suitable for advanced synchronous motor control, including automotive electric motor systems.

The A17803 was developed in accordance with ISO 26262 as a hardware safety element out of context. with ASIL C capability for use in automotive safety-related systems.

  • Highly integrated inductive position sensor interface IC optimized for use in e-Motor applications.
  • State of the Art signal conditioning algorithms ensure high accuracy over a wide range of system configurations.
  • Up to 16 bit resolution at up to 250,000 rpm for today’s traction motor and motor position sensing applications.
  • Large output interface selection: SPI, SENT, motorSENT, PWM, and ABI.
  • Developed in accordance with ISO 26262:2018 ASIL C(D) (pending assessment)
